The team found considerably more success this season, earning a 3-1 record in the Fight Card rounds, only losing a Main Event to former semi-finalist Bronco. The articulating arm was upgraded to swing faster and with more power, as it doubled up as a self-righter when SawBlaze found itself upended. In World Championship III, SawBlaze sported a more resilient diamond-edged cutting disc and larger dragon head, as well as more vibrant lime green coloring across the bot. Despite this, SawBlaze returned for a three-way rumble, which it won. SawBlaze debuted exclusively as a circular saw-wielding robot in World Championship II, losing its qualifier match to Razorback by judges' decision after its relatively thin saw blade became bent and jammed. However, it proved to spew green flame in more recent seasons. SawBlaze was also paired with a front-mounted flamethrower, though this scarcely worked in its earliest fights. In later seasons, the circular saw weaponry could be interchanged with an asymmetric, downward-spinning disc to deliver greater hits, called a hammer saw. It could also be equipped with various offensive and defensive attachments depending on its opponent. Like the Comedy Central era competitor S.O.B., SawBlaze was designed to slide underneath robots to trap them in place, then bring down an arm with a spinning disc mounted at the end to deal damage from overhead. Team captain Jamison Go was previously part of Team JACD and Overhaul in World Championship I, but disbanded to spearhead his own team in future seasons of BattleBots. It is the current reigning BattleBots champion. SawBlaze is a heavyweight robot built by Jamison Go of Team SawBlaze, formerly LiMITless Robotics, which has competed in every BattleBots season since World Championship II.
